Getting started

Spark Memory gives the AI tools you already use one shared memory of your business. This page takes you from a new account to your first answer in about ten minutes. Every plan starts with a fourteen day trial of the full Team experience, and no card is needed to begin.

1. Create your account#

Sign up at ai.solderspark.com with your email address, or with your Microsoft work account. Your organization and your first memory are created for you, and you land in the app.

2. Teach it something#

Open Knowledge and drop in a few documents, several at a time if you like. Word, Excel, PowerPoint, PDF, OpenDocument, and text files all work. The memory reads each one, names it, and shows you the facts it picked up.

You can also just tell it things. Type a plain sentence such as "Billing moved to Anna in March" into the Ask box and choose Remember this. It is kept with today's date and you as the source.

3. Ask your first question#

Type a question in the Ask box, for example "Who owns billing". The answer comes back with the facts it was built on, each showing where it came from, when it was observed, and what it replaced when there is history.

4. Connect the places your team already works#

Open Sources. Each tile connects with a sign-in on the provider's own screen and asks only for read access.

Outlook reads your inbox and your sent mail, and skips machine mail.
Teams reads the channels and chats you pick.
Google Drive, OneDrive, and SharePoint read the folders you pick and stay current as documents change.
GitHub reads the repositories you approve.
Discord reads the channels you pick on a server you manage.

Everything is read only, and you can disconnect a source at any time.

5. Connect your AI tools#

Open Sharing and choose Create connection. Pick your tool and paste the command or configuration it shows you.

Claude Code takes one command in a terminal.
Codex takes two lines in a terminal.
OpenCode takes a short block in its configuration file.
Any other tool that can connect over MCP takes the generic configuration.

From then on that tool can ask your memory questions during its work, and if you allow it, add what it learns.

6. Decide who may see what#

A memory is divided into rooms, for example sales, engineering, and operations. On Access and trust you choose, per room, whether each connected tool is answered at once, waits for you to approve, or is refused. Questions waiting for you appear in the Review queue, and everything any tool asked is in the Audit log.

Inviting your team#

On Organization, invite colleagues by email. Each person gets their own memory that reads their own mail and files, and you choose what is shared between them. Team plans include three connected tools per person.
